Ronald and Melissa Grab, the Brentwood husband and wife who pleaded guilty last month to running a million-dollar escort service out of their home, were sentenced yesterday in Suffolk County Court.

Judge Joseph Farneti gave Ronald Grab, 39, who has a prior conviction for wire fraud and other charges from 1991, a 2 1/2- to 5-year sentence for second-degree money laundering. Melissa Grab, 33, was sentenced to 9 months for third-degree promoting prostitution.

The couple was arrested in June. Ronald Grab told authorities he and his wife ran "Exotic Escorts" for three years, serving customers in Suffolk and Nassau. The business brought in a profit of $40,000 to $50,000 a month, Assistant District Attorney Dana Brown said. Full Story...
