The city of Wichita is looking at making it more expensive to operate an escort service or to be an escort, in hopes of discouraging people from going into that type of business.
Council members discussed several proposals at a workshop--including increasing fees and health exams.

Four COPE city councillors Vancouver city council have changed their minds about allowing escort services to operate in city-designated live-work spaces.

Athens-Clarke County police say 42-year-old Gregory Wade Mulligan of Maysville was charged Monday with solicitation of prostitution and pandering.
