Judge strikes down Collier ordinance on escort agencies
A pair from Bonita Springs charged with operating an escort agency without a license were acquitted when the judge ruled the Collier County ordinance under which they were charged was unconstitutional.
Judge Vince Murphy invalidated an ordinance requiring licensure for people operating an escort agency. The ruling came Tuesday in the trial of two people operating a Bonita Springs company called Absolutely Entertainment. State prosecutors are considering a appeal. Full Story...
