German brothel holds open house for charity
A German brothel threw open its doors over the weekend for an open house aimed at raising money for charity, drawing a nearly unprecedented crowd to the establishment, organisers said.
"Club Escort" and the prostitutes' aid group Mitternachtsmission (Midnight Mission) attracted about 200 people at 40 euro ($A69.57) a ticket for an art exhibition at the bordello late Monday to benefit under-age street walkers.
Sex, however, was not for sale.
"The response was overwhelming," said charity director Jutta Geissler-Hehlke.
The brothel's proprietors opened up the sado-masochism chamber to display erotic oil paintings for sale while the bedrooms held donated raffle prizes. Full Story...
