Convicted ex-commisioner seeks money for appeals online
PITTSBURGH — A former county official convicted of running a prostitution ring out of her rural farmhouse has started a Web site, showing herself in scanty dress with leather boots, disputing the case against her and asking for money as she appeals. Susanne Teslovich, 57, of Smock, Fayette County, was convicted in December of running prostitution ring disguised as an escort service out of her home, about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. She has remained free pending an appeal of her six- to 36-month sentence. On her Web site, www.madamofthecounty.com, Teslovich offers many of the same arguments she used during her trial — that she only ran an escort service and her employees initiated sex without her knowledge to make more money.
