Now, among those online ads that promise discreet companionship and sensual massage is an ad placed by the Kansas City police vice squad.

Last week's discovery caused Stokes County commissioners to reverse their decision to accept Craig Greer's April 28 resignation. They fired him instead and took back a negotiated $37,000 severance package. Police say an Italian priest who asked prostitutes to dress as nuns was among the clients of a brothel raided by the vice squad. Officers refuse to name the priest, but say he was a regular customer of the high-class brothel which had dozens of women, including students and housewives, on its books. PITTSBURGH — A former county official convicted of running a prostitution ring out of her rural farmhouse has started a Web site, showing herself in scanty dress with leather boots, disputing the case against her and asking for money as she appeals. Susanne Teslovich, 57, of Smock, Fayette County, was convicted in December of running prostitution ring disguised as an escort service out of her home, about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. She has remained free pending an appeal of her six- to 36-month sentence.
